Posted under News, Workplace Commentary on August 17, 2014

LockersNo matter where you are; work, school or the gym, you are normally surrounded by lockers.  These can be quite convenient little methods of storing your items for a certain period of time because nobody wants to lug all of their belongings around with them.  Having the privilege of leaving your items in a locker, not having to carry them around causing backache, without worrying about leaving them somewhere is an absolute delight… But what … Read more

The Wonderful World of Footballers’ Locker Rooms…

Posted under Amusing, Storage on August 15, 2014

Changing room benchThat time of year is approaching again… the start of the Premier League football season. Admittedly this year’s break hasn’t been as torturous as usual, mainly because we had the World Cup to keep us entertained, all for about a week. Nevertheless, twenty more clubs are back in action this weekend, joining the rest of those in the lower leagues for another, what I’m sure will be eventful, season!

Posted under Health and safety, News, Office on August 10, 2014

Smoking BinBack in the 1950’s, smoking and cigarettes were actually promoted as being good for you and, to a certain extent, healthy – by doctors!

Many posters back in this decade show advertisements for cigarette brands such as L & M, Pall Mall, Camel, Chesterfield, Viceroys and Lucky Strike with a positive message, with references to certain brands being ‘just what the doctor ordered’ and how ‘more doctors smoke camels than any other cigarette!’ Following on … Read more
