Our Journey

Founded in 1991 by Ken Miller as Central Source Ltd, we began life as a catalogue-based distributor of industrial products — connecting UK manufacturers and importers through a drop-ship model. In 2012, Ken’s son Steve Miller launched the The Workplace Depot brand to give our business a name that clearly reflects “everything for the workplace.” After running both identities in parallel, we fully transitioned to The Workplace Depot in 2021, now operating three UK warehouses stocked with both locally sourced and internationally imported inventory.
