Will Under Desk Drawers Fit Your Desk
These pedestals fit under most desks, but measure the space first. Every model is 605mm high and 520mm deep, and either 300mm or 390mm wide.
Measure the clear height from the floor to the lowest point under the desk, including any frame, crossbar or modesty panel, and check it’s at least 605mm. Check the depth back to any panel or wall against 520mm, and the gap between the desk legs against the width you want. Leave room in front for the drawers to open and for the chair to tuck in. What Fits in the Drawers
Each pedestal has 3 drawers. The two top drawers are 120mm high on the 300mm models and 125mm on the 390mm models, for pens, stationery, notebooks and other small items.
The bottom drawer is 285mm high on every model and takes hanging A4 files, so the papers in use stay at the desk. The drawers are removable, which makes the unit easier to clear out. For more files than a bottom drawer holds, see our filing cabinets, and for the top drawers, our stationery.
Lockable Desk Drawers for Shared Offices
Every pedestal has central locking: one key locks all three drawers at once, and 2 keys are supplied. That keeps personal items and paperwork secure in an open-plan office.
In a shared or hot-desking office, decide who holds the keys before the units go out: one with the desk’s regular user and the spare with the office manager or facilities team, so a lost key doesn’t leave a drawer locked.
Mobile Pedestals on Castors
Every model runs on 35mm castor wheels, so it rolls out of the way for cleaning, moves to a new desk when the layout changes, or stands beside the desk as a side unit. An anti-tilt mechanism helps keep the pedestal stable with a drawer open.
The 300mm models weigh 15.3kg and the 390mm models 17.1kg. They arrive flat packed, for straightforward assembly on site.
