Fancy Dress for Christmas

Posted on December 19, 2014

Advent Although perhaps not commonly associated with Christmas, fancy dress ideas for this season are becoming more creatively entertaining by the year!

Whether it’s your workplace requesting you in fancy dress for the annual Christmas party, or you have been invited to a Christmas Eve knees up with the instruction to sport your best fancy dress ideas - we think there are some fantastic designs to win you the best dressed prize there! (We are talking more than Christmas jumpers here, but for more on those, read our previous blog post).

You can be anything these days from a giant Gingerbread man, a Turkey, or even a walking, talking Christmas tree!

Some of these costumes have even been made into all in one suits, just in case you weren’t sure whether you wanted others to know it was you dressed up as the human Gingerbread!

It’s inevitable that fancy dress isn’t for everyone, but in light of the festive season, here at The Workplace Depot we think you should go all out to be crowned the King or Queen of the Christmas costumes…

Although we don’t sell clothing or costume supplies, as we mentioned in one of our previous blog posts – Office Christmas Party Games (which might also come in useful for any upcoming parties – they don’t have to be practised in the office!) you could always dress in our range of safety work wear, including hi-vis clothing and hard hats (with the addition of a garland of tinsel) and you will become everyone’s favourite handy Santa!

The staff here at the Workplace Depot are off to enjoy our Christmas party this evening, although unfortunately it’s not fancy dress, still be sure to look out for some equally entertaining snaps after a few beverages on our blog and social media sites when we return after Christmas…

If you are attending any Christmas themed fancy dress parties, be sure to send us your photos to and we will feature the best ones on this page, enjoy!
