Welded Tubular Steel Frame
The frame is welded tubular steel, built to stand up to the daily traffic of schools, gyms and staff changing rooms. At 13.6kg, the bench feels steady when people sit down to change, giving facilities teams a bench that keeps its shape with constant use.
Ash Slatted Seat at 455mm
The seat is made from 3 ash slats, each 75mm deep with a 50mm gap between them, giving a firm surface for sitting down to change shoes or kit. The 455mm bench height is a comfortable height for changing, and the slatted top is quick to wipe clean between sessions.
Use From Either Side
With no back and no coat rail, the bench can be used from either side, so it works along a wall or as an island in the centre of a changing room. At 1500mm wide and 320mm deep, it gives a long seat without taking up much floor space.
Open Space Beneath the Seat
The space under the seat is left open, so bags, shoes and kit can go beneath the bench rather than on the floor around it. That helps keep walkways clearer in busy cloakrooms and changing rooms, and the open frame is easy to clean underneath.
Rust-Resistant Powder-Coated Finish
The blue powder-coated finish helps protect the steel frame from rust, so the bench keeps its condition in damp changing rooms, poolside areas and welfare cabins. Its smooth surfaces wipe clean quickly, which keeps daily upkeep simple for cleaning and facilities teams.
Adjustable Foot Brackets
The foot brackets bolt onto the legs and slide down to lengthen each foot, steadying the bench on uneven floors. They also give a floor fixing point and come with all the fixings. Fixing down is optional: bolt the bench in place in busy areas, or leave it free-standing where you may want to move it later.
Quick Flat-Pack Assembly
The bench arrives flat-packed. The steel frame bolts together and the ash slats screw on, and the assembly video on this page shows each step, so your team can follow along as they build it. With free next day delivery, a cloakroom or changing room can be kitted out this week.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the bench arrive assembled?
No, it arrives flat-packed. The steel frame bolts together and the ash slats screw on, and the assembly video on this page shows each step from start to finish, so your team can build it on site.
Can it be fixed to the floor, and are the fixings included?
Yes. Foot brackets bolt onto the legs to give a floor fixing point, and they come with all the fixings. They also slide down to steady the bench on uneven floors. Fixing down is optional, so you can bolt it in place in busy areas or leave it free-standing. Use your own risk assessment to decide where fixing is needed.
Does this bench have coat hooks?
No, this is a plain bench with no back or coat rail. If you need seating and coat storage in one, see our single sided cloakroom bench with coat hooks, which has a rail of powder-coated steel hooks above a beech slatted seat.
What colours is this bench available in?
This bench has a blue powder-coated steel frame with ash slats. If your colour scheme calls for grey, our hook benches come with a grey frame, such as the grey single sided cloakroom bench.
Where is this bench best placed?
Either against a wall or in the centre of a room. With no back or coat rail it can be used from either side, and its 320mm overall depth keeps it compact in cloakrooms, corridors and changing rooms.
What size is the bench?
It measures 455 × 1500 × 320mm overall, with a 455mm bench height, a 1280mm internal width and a 235mm internal depth. If you need a longer seat, see our large cloakroom bench.
How quickly can I get it?
Delivery is free and arrives the next working day when you order before 4pm. That means a school, gym or workplace can kit out a cloakroom or changing room this week.
