The Nottingham Post Business Awards 2015 – Winners!

Posted on May 15, 2015

NPBALast night we were invited to attend the Nottingham Post Business Awards at the East Midlands Conference Centre.

“The Nottingham Post Business Awards aim to celebrate success, recognise achievement and highlight the innovative people and companies in Nottinghamshire who are putting our region on the map.” To find out more about these awards, visit their website.

The final nominees listed within thirteen different categories were selected from hundreds of entrants, so it was a huge compliment to find out we were amongst those chosen to attend the awards.

As nominees in the Retail Business of the Year category, we were very excited to be a part of the night, which was thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. Our category was sponsored by Baker Tilly, a leading national provider of accounting and business services. They stated they were delighted to be sponsoring the award as they work with a number of retailers and recognise the importance of the sector to the strength of the local economy.

From a champagne reception to a three course meal, the service was fantastic, not to mention fun and games and a stint from comedian Kevin Orkian (former Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist) in between; who might we add was hilarious!

The awards were presented by Paul Ross and Emma Jesson, who provided light-hearted and professional commentary throughout the night, introducing each sponsor on to the stage to announce the winner within their category.

Here is a video clip of the nominees in our category being announced, unfortunately we were unable to capture our name being announced as the winners; it was a tense moment!
