Over the past week, we at The Workplace Depot have visited a number of charities in and around Nottingham, donating some stock to their organisations in order to build up our commitment to these worthwhile causes helping and supporting their communities.
The charities we have visited include:
Age Concern, Rainbows, Groundwork, CP Sport, Nottinghamshire Hospice
Each of these charities were given a list of stock to choose items from, which we would personally deliver and take the opportunity to have our picture taken with the contacts that we made. Those who we did liaise and meet up with from each organisation were extremely friendly, grateful and helpful towards acknowledging the donations, which made the experience even better.
The stock we donated included products such as: First Aid Kits, Grit Salt, Adhesive Tape, Floor Tape, RAC Vivo Motoring First Aid Kit, Burns Dispenser Kit, Large Eyewash Station, Fire Extinguisher Stand - all of which we were told were extremely beneficial to each establishment.

It was a great experience to meet a number of people involved with such good causes and to learn a bit more about what each charity does. With this being said we are grateful to have made these connections and hope to work with these organisations again in the future.
We hope that this post will encourage other business establishments to build a relationship with a charity or a number of charities in order to benefit those who work hard to maintain a happy and safe community for everyone.
